CORONAVIRUS STATEMENT

February 3, 2020

The entire FuJae community is very concerned about the current coronavirus incident. The impact has been developed to a level that is much worse than what we as a firm could possibly imagine or plan.

Over many issues, FuJae’s top priority is always the health of our partners, associates, supporting staff and other colleagues, as well as their family members. For that, we are pleased to report that the whole FuJae team has not been infected by this coronavirus. Most of the FuJae lawyers are back in Shanghai and are back to work, after a stretched Chinese New Year holiday.

Quarantine measures have been put in place, among those FuJae folks who have travelled to or from Shanghai in the past 14 days, on a mandatory basis.
The FuJae main office will remain closed during the week of February 3, 2020. Our office will be reopened as early as February 10, 2020, subject to clearance from the local Shanghai authorities.

Effective as of the date hereof, the FuJae will work from home and will be able to respond to inquiries or emails on a real time basis.

We hope this rather unusual situation could improve soon. In the meantime, our thoughts and prayers are with those who are infected and who are helping the infected ones, no matter they are in Wuhan or anywhere else.

For any communication issue or inquiry, please contact me (richard.yao@fujae.com) or my assistant Cici Wang (cici.wang@fujae.com).
