Overview

Mr. Yao is an international partner. He heads FuJae’s mergers & acquisitions practice.

Mr. Yao specializes in inbound and outbound cross-border investment, M&A, restructurings, anti-trust and general corporate matters. He has advised large U.S. and European clients in a range of industries including auto, banking, container terminals, e-commerce, food & beverage, insurance, machinery manufacturing, real estate.

Mr. Yao brings a wealth of practice experience. He has successfully represented large and small companies in negotiated and contested M&A matters in a variety of contexts. He understands the regulations; he understand the practice covering M&A and anti-trust matters in China.

Before joining FuJae, Mr. Yao was a partner with Jun He Law Offices for many years. He specialized in corporate and M&A. Earlier, Mr. Yao served six years as an associate with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. He served as in-house lawyer with United Technologies for one year.

Mr. Yao serves as a non-executive director of PengXin Global Resources Corporation, a Shanghai listed A share company.
