Overview

Mr. Liu specializes in corporate compliance, data compliance, intellectual property rights, anti-unfair competition, inbound/outbound investment regulatory, and cross-border e-commerce regulatory.

Mr. Liu advises Chinese and MNC clients on a variety of legal issues. He has extensive experience in general IP advice, IP prosecution, IP license (license in/out) and transfer, anti-counterfeiting actions in trademarks, unfair competition, trade secrets, and domain name disputes.

In addition to his IP practice, Mr. Liu also provides legal services related to corporate compliance (FCPA and Chinese laws), including data compliance, internal investigation, regulatory review, and anti-corruption and anti-unfair competition matters.

Before joining FuJae, Mr. Liu was a legal counsel with a major US electronic vehicle manufacturer where he handled IP and compliance matters. Earlier, Mr. Liu specialized in IP at Baker McKenzie and compliance at McDermott Will and Emory China.
